Nice bit of type on a wall in Frome
The National Trust launches it’s first nation wide Walking Festival this coming weekend. Many people assume that the National Trust only looks after stately homes but the charity also manages hundreds of miles of countryside and coastline such as Brean, posted July 13th 2011. Aiming to encourage more people to explore their local landscape there are many walks, from gentle rambles to guided trails all available on the National Trust website http://www.nationaltrust.org.uk

The hearts of many of our lovely clients were sent racing on Monday when we sent them a token of our love…
Our lovely new client Meg Avent from Lemon Sky Cakes kindly delivered a wonderful cake for us today. We believed her when she said her cakes were pretty good but she was wrong; they’re fabulous! We completed the branding work for Lemon Sky Cakes late last year and we are about to embark on some digital and print work. More tea please vicar!
Another of the installation pieces we produced for the National Trust’s ‘Celebration of 20th Century Women Gardeners’, this one is at Montacute House. Vita Sackville-West provided the inspiration for this piece, she is probably best known for her architectural approach to garden design as well as use of single colour. We wanted to focus on these characteristics in the creation of these sculptural pieces. Children are particularly enjoying being able to interact with them, running in and out of the ribbons and around the poles.
Les Abraham has joined Ice House Design. Les has considerable experience in branding and strategic design from one of the top London agencies. The only down side is that he’s an Arsenal fan.
